Apple Bun
Sourdough with Flax Seed
Most flavourful bread one could sink the teeth into. With just a light spread of butter, crusty on the outside, and moist, chewy and surprisingly light on the crumb. This is just white bread, but using sourdough gives it a special flavour, no yeast added, and let it rise slowly for 4 hours. Flax seed is added to give the crunch and earthy taste. Had so much fun scoring my bread.

Apple Turnover
For the filling, I use Granny Smith Apples, sweeten it lightly with sugar, lemon juice and zest and butter. Set it on puff pastry, fold it over and bake till golden brown. Then all it takes is a light dusting of icing sugar and need I say more?
